WHY TRACK THE SUN?
It is well known that solar "receivers" such are solar cells, solar collectors or any sort of solar concentrators catch more sunbeams if those sunbeams are falling in the right angle onto their surface. But with simple fixed mounting of those solar "receivers" it's impossible to achieve that because sun is moving from east to west every day. Soon you find out that it would be nice to "follow the sun". But how? First you need a structure with one or two actuators capable of moving it by one or ideal by two axis - that is called solar tracker (or sun/solar tracking structure). Then you need solar "receiver" (solar cells, solar collectors, etc) which you mount onto that solar tracker. In the end you only need a device which will be turning on and off tracker's actuator motor(s) so that your solar "receiver" will always catch all available solar energy. Ladies and Gentlemen, the device you need is our FUSIONSEEKER solar tracker controller which was designed to do exactly that.
HOW FUSIONSEEKERs WORK?
FUSIONSEEKER solar tracker controller is (with its light sensors) always looking where the sun is and uses POWER MOS-FET transistors to turn on and off tracker's actuator motor so that solar "receiver" is always facing precisely towards the sun by one axis (in case of non ideal but cheaper "single-axis" tracking) or both axis (in case of ideal "dual-axis" tracking) because we have single and dual-axis controllers available. Motors are being turned on and off throughout the day till sunfall when the tracker stops moving. Next morning when first sun rays appear FUSIONSEEKER with its sensors notices that and immediately turns on the motor to move the tracker to the east. In case when clouds cover the sun it can stop tracking or it can turn solar tracker towards the brightest cloud - that depends on what tracking accuracy you choose (set). And immediately after clouds disappear it will in every case turn the tracker toward the sun. In short, using FUSIONSEEKER you will always ''catch'' the sun.
